Who are we?

Established in 2016, the Association of Malaysian Economics Undergraduates (AMEU) is a professional student-run organization dedicated to empowering Malaysian students with a keen interest in economics. AMEU is the definitive platform for undergraduates to cultivate and deepen their understanding of economic subjects and affairs, fostering the development of future leaders in the field.

AMEU acts as a strategic intermediary, connecting our high-calibre members with promising Malaysian and established international corporations through tailored career programs and professional events. We serve as a critical convenor, facilitating robust dialogue, policy knowledge exchange, and the formation of a strong, connected community among aspiring economists and industry professionals.

To develop leadership and strategic capabilities amongst Malaysian students.
To connect and engage Malaysian students who are passionate in Economics and other related disciplines.
To study and formulate views, observations and recommendations of the Malaysian student community in respect of the nation's socio-economic development.
To foster commercial, economic and social knowledge, and awareness amongst Malaysian students.
